Traveler ReviewsSO GOOD!
Reviewed by MJTravel002 on Feb 3, 2011
My fiance and I came here for dinner and had an amazing experience. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We each had the pasta with the garlic and olive oil (he got steak and scallops, I got chicken). The steak was one of the best we had ever tried! We also had a side of coconut rice. We topped it off with two Medallas for a buck each.
The restaurant is tiny, almost like a little surf shack, in a town that is really nothing to write home about. But the food is 100% worth the trip out from San Juan.

For a place that has only 5 tables and minimal decor the food is first class as is the atmosphere. The chefs are down to earth dynamite people. My visit to Puerto Rico with my family would not have been complete without the several experiences we had here. The coconut/curry shrimp with the coconut rice is to die for. Thank you to my neighbors at Playa Azul for this recomendation! You were all on target.
The reviews are true!!!

Okay so I am huge on reviews and seeing if they are true and the ratings for this restaurant are rift on target. It is a run down shack and you will wait a while but it is most definitely worth the wait. If you miss this spot while in Puerto Rico you really screwed up! The food was amazing ranging from 12-15 and you can bring your own bottle. I went twice on my trip and I had the skirt steak and the curry shrimp with pasta and coconut rice. It was the best meal ever! The cook came out to greet house and he was so humble and nice. If you get over the fact that it is a shack by the beach you will have an amazing meal and a great time. I'm looking forward to coming here again.
Lovely hole in the wall

Small (five tables) hole in the wall. Food was excellent. I had the coconut curry shrimp & pesto pasta. My boyfriend had the steak & coconut rice. It's a limited menu, but what they do make is awesome. Entrees are $12-25
Best food on our honeymoon

We were sent to Pasta Y Pueblo by a new friend in PR while on our honeymoon, best food of the whole trip! The night we were there it rained just as we were finishing up, it added to the whole beach feeling of the place and we loved every minute of our visit. Thank You Freddie! Hope to see you again in May 2011. :)
