We just returned from a week on Grand Cayman and made SEVERAL trips to the Sunshine Grill. Everything we had was wonderful. We tried the burgers, fish tacos, snapper reuban, triple quesadilla, sliders. All were very good. Also enjoyed the tiny ice cream after the meal. A different flavor each time. It's growing in popularity and it's pretty small so you may have to wait but it's worth it.
Simply fabulous, fresh and tasty.

I'm fearful to praise this place too much in fear that they become overrun with tourists, but it is one of the best options on the island for a casual meal. We tried one of their burgers - which my companion proclaimed excellent, and I tried a combo taco platter - which was bursting with fresh veggies, herbs and delicious jerked chicken and shrimp. In contrast to some other reviews we had a very pleasant wait person who delivered our food in a timely manner. Very tasty. A note about the adjacent hotel Sunshine Suites - while we did not see a room, the premises are very well cared for, and the rooms seem to be a good bargain in that they have full kitchens and a couple of different layouts at good rates - and is across the street from the street from public beach access on 7 mile.
Sunshine Grill is a delightful surprise!

On our first trip to Grand Cayman, our concierge recommended a restaurant across from our hotel. It was hidden a block away and part of another small hotel. We turned a corner and came upon a scene that could have been from a movie. A meticulously groomed motel, Sunshine Suites, had a small screened in restaurant by the pool. There was a wait but the host was so friendly and the atmosphere so charming, we had to stay. The food and service were outstanding and we plan to visit again before heading home. Don't miss this hidden jewel.
Great food and value for the area.

I am a medical student right next to this place, and it's one of my favorite spots on the island. Their fish tacos are the best I've had on Grand Cayman, as are all their burgers. Their fries are crazy good too, served along with fried onions, fried jalapeņos, and fried mushrooms. To cap it all off, every meal comes with complementary soft serve ice cream cone, usually some tropical flavor. Can be a little expensive for "bar food" but everything on 7 mile beach is...totally recommend it!
Best Burger on Grand Cayman...and at a reasonable price!

We tried Sunshine Grill on the recommendation of a local. They were so right...this is the best burger on Grand Cayman. Lots of specialty burgers to choose from...the Blue Burger with excellent blue cheese and carmelized onions...the Kitchen Sink...well it is what it sounds like. Your burger is held together by a substantial steak knife (rather than a puny toothpick!) I had the chopped salad as a side...corn, cabbage, lettuce, olives, blue cheese...just delish. My husband had the "fries" which were actually fries, sweet potato fries, fried mushrooms and fried jalapenos! Laid back, attractive open air grill located on the pool at Sunshine Suites. Got a small soft serve handed to us as we left...worth the effort to find this place!
